Here are some very basic, superficial, and sort of amusing facts about the contents of my slightly smaller than standard GE Profile refrigerator:
] I always cut an apple the same way [I will post a picture next time a eat an apple].
] I nearly always eat one either mid afternoon for a snack or after dinner or both. Thus, my apple consumption is high, VERY high.
] When I take the apple [fuji OR granny smith, but most often fuji] out of the drawer in the refrigerator, I peel off the sticker.
] And the sticker is always 'restuck' on the top of the fridge door. I realized that this morning when I was pulling my coffee off of the bottom shelf and saw the little piles stuck together...It was reason to pause and ponder removing them; as of now, the stickers remain.
] I always keep my coffee and my rice milk on the bottom shelf, right next to the Kombucha [I'm down to 2 a day from the high of 4 through the winter], and in front of the Modelos [kept on hand for not gluten free company [NGFC]] and the Spritzer Jamican Lemonades [on hand for my dad for those rare occasions the New Yorker in him ventures south].
] Water is a top shelf beverage, always.
] And in my house produce, except for avocados and strawberries, belongs in the produce drawers; There is a reason why the drawers have those little symbols on them.
] 'Buying Organic Only' affects everything from my deli meats to my condiments. Being GDSF3 [gluten, dairy, soy free times 3], I control what I can. I read labels voraciously: I would have never known regular ketchup contains 'natural flavorings' [wtf are 'natural flavorings', anyway??!?], a no-go on the GF list. Thank God for Annies.
] As you will see, BOO affects my frozen vegetable selection as well... organic nearly everything, yes, except for sweet treats for special peeps.
