You know those chintzy prize vending machines at places the HEB and Randalls [Petco has one too]? If I actually have quarters, I have to resist the temptation when I walk by. I couldn't resist the other morning. I had 50cents. The choice was between tin rings [that frankly looked like they could cut a finger off], gumballs, or these scary little creatures the size of a green grape. I went for the scary dudes...I bought two. The guy on the left [the blue one] looks kind of sketchy for a 'kids toy': The man boobs and scarily long pointed tongue are a bit...nevermind...and the one on the right looks a bit psychotic. I should mention that the blue guy, with the very long tongue, has a lightening bolt on his backwards facing ball cap. The brown guy is wearing a cowboy hat. I've taken to calling 'em Clinton [Blue Boy] and Bush [Cowboy]. Who knew even vending machines send political messages?!?
