tongue wagging

What's the deal with all the older gentlemen on the trail sticking their tongues out at me [or even more disturbing, licking their lips] when they pass by going the opposite direction?
Seriously, it's OBSCENE.

On another note: I found out last week I have been running my endurance runs 'too fast': So, per dw's mandate, I have had to slow down. WAY DOWN. As previously mentioned, I am not going to share nitty gritty details of pace and all that jazz, but let's just say this, slowing down by, at the least, a minute per mile [and that's still not 'slow' enough] is HARD.
And it HURTS.

This made the tongue wagging even more distracting: Due to my slowed trajectory I was privy to this interaction for a longer amount of time. ICK.
